Every child deserves the chance to feel safe around water. Yet, in many of our communities, water safety remains a silent crisis. Tragic drownings continue to claim young lives—lives that could be saved through basic swimming skills and water safety education.
💙 Why “Learn to Swim”?
Our “Learn to Swim” campaign is part of the Foundation’s broader water safety initiative, Water Champions, run in collaboration with the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation South Africa. Through this campaign, we aim to:

Provide free swimming lessons to children from disadvantaged communities

Equip youth with essential water safety knowledge

Prevent unnecessary drownings and build confidence around water
